Behind Pretty Prints
Yana is the co-founder and designer of Pretty Prints. Her journey with prints and patterns began with my first graphic design post in the garment industry, where she worked closely with design teams to develop seasonal collections. From mood boards to prints, graphic placements, and embellishments. Fun, busy and multitasking.
Over the past decade, she has worked across knitwear, sportswear, Atleisure, and lingerie. These experiences have allowed her to explore how colour, imagery, and graphic elements can come together to create a feeling, a mood, and a story, finally into a real life clothings. Print and pattern have always fascinated her as an art form. Through interplay of color, motif, and composition, a pattern and material begin on its own rhythm and tells a story.
